Riad Marrakech Rouge has 2 bright, colorful, family run BACKPACKER hostels in the heart of the medina, a few moments from Place D'Jeema El Fna, in the centre of the world famous Souks. Entering into the true spirit of hostelling, our guests will be welcomed into a lively, friendly and soulful community of backpackers and travelers from all over the world, and leave feeling as though they have a home to come to again in the medina.
Riad Marrakech Rouge 1 & 2 has a variety of choices. There are many spaces to sit, contemplate, draw, write, think, chat and relax. On arrival, have a complimentary pot of Moroccan tea in our court to revitalize after your journey. Or perhaps, you will feel like sunbathing on our terrace with a cold drink.
Riad Marrakech Rouge offers a comfortable, clean and colorful rooms ranging from doubles with en-suite, triples with en-suite and dormitory rooms with en-suite or shared shower rooms.
The hostels are run by an English/Moroccan couple with many years of experience of living and working in Marrakech. We are happy to give you any advice, information and guidance for a marvelous holiday in this brilliant city.
Riad Marrakech Rouge 1 & 2 have a large roof terrace for guests. In addition we have a second terrace which doubles as a Berber tent from which you can relax, smoke a shisha pipe, and enjoy amazing views of the Koutoubia Mosque, listening to the music from the main square, stepping outside is like stepping into your own outdoor lounge.
Riad Marrakech Rouge is one minute by foot from Cafe de France in Place D'Jeema el Fna. -We are located in the centre of the Souqs, 2 minutes from Palais Bahia which is next to the Mellah, the Jewish quarter and spice market.
There is a large open air court area with 2 suites, and a shared kitchen. It is a colorful, homely area full of plants and space to relax

It is also only a few minutes by foot to major attractions such as Palais Bahia and the Mellah - the Jewish quarter, famous for its spice markets. | | Directions | If you are facing Cafe de France in the main square, take the street straight on which is immediately to the left of the cafe (there is a little newspaper stand) You will bear right where the road ends. This road is called Riad Zitoune Jedid. Walk straight on and through a traditional Moroccan archway - continue straight on and through a second archway - take the first small street on the right, immediate left and you will find Riad Marrakech Rouge at Number 40. | | Transportation | We can arrange pickup from bus station, train station and airport.
